Lucid Nightmares

Play as a Rose, as you are trapped in her nightmare, but is it only hers? The only way to find out is by going deeper into her subconscious mind and defeating progressively more abstract fears in strange dream worlds so you can wake up.

Each card will cost time to play: when you play a card, time moves and all monsters and projectiles will run their course. Plan your actions to make the most of it. Will you have time to use your powerful card or will have to dodge and save it for later? Time never really stops, so don’t linger and play the cards you are given or it might be too late!

As you delve deeper into Rose’s nightmare in this roguelike game, you will find new cards and items to take on even greater challenges, you will also ‘remember’ traits of who she is when awake (or who you want her to be, it’s a dream, right?). These traits will give you powerful abilities to combo with your cards, but be careful as some traits will come with their own downsides. 

No one knows why we dream what we dream, be prepared to face a flying cactus that wanders around shooting spines while a sewage monsters shoots at you from bellow and goblins try to hunt you down.

Fight, die and start over again, each time with more knowledge of the creatures that await for you and unlocking new cards to have better odds to defeat then. Even if you wake up, it might still not be the end...
