Celestial Decks

Celestial is a collectible card game like no other. There are no weapons to swing, no armies of monsters to command. Your task is to gently usher Penumbra into the next life by helping them understand what came before. Matches in Celestial take the form of a storytelling ritual, where cards are played into a shared Story. Deck-building restrictions are minimal: fill your deck with any 15 cards, using as many copies of a card as you like. The result is a deeply strategic experience that captivates both novice and expert card gamers.

Celestial’s rules are simple. Players take turns spending Breath to play cards during the Morning phase of the game. During the Night phase, effects resolve and points are totaled. The player with most points wins the round. The first player to win 5 rounds wins the match! Most cards are easy to understand, with a low amount of text and keywords. Each card is meticulously designed to have a unique role in the game. High-level play demands precise planning and the ability to “read” your opponent.
