Dream Hollow

Dream Hollow is a cozy-horror narrative adventure that combines all our favorite aspects of point-and-clicks, visual novels, and RPGs while incorporating minor roguelike elements and resource management.

You're a small child who has run away from home in the middle of the night. Now, you find yourself trapped in a strange forest filled with storybook creatures and terrifying nightmares. Each day you must push yourself a little further to explore the forest before your RESOLVE runs out, and fear drives you back to your cozy little cottage. 

The forest is filled with many strange storybook creatures, all living in fear of the horrors that lurk within. It's up to you whether or not you spend the time and resources necessary to save them from the terrors that surround you. Grow your relationship with them, and experience many unique story events as you learn about what's really going on in these woods. 

RESOLVE is a measure of your bravery, courage, and determination. The more horrors you encounter in the forest, the more your RESOLVE is tested. When your resolve is empty, you have no choice but to flee home and start a new day. The choices you make can upgrade your RESOLVE in order to push yourself a little further each day. 

Your one safe haven in the forest is your quaint little cottage. Fill it with gifts from denizens and other trinkets you might find along your journey. Invite the denizens you can save back to your cottage to shelter them from the forest's horrors.
