Mimic Sleuth is a mix of “Papers, Please” and “The Case of the Golden Idol” set in a fantasy world where everything revolves around storing stuff in chests.
You will venture into dungeons and learn what differentiates a real chest from a mimic. Then, armed with a rulebook filled to the brim with chest knowledge, you will amass more gold than you can count.
As you explore the dungeons, you will find all kinds of chests, all with unique quirks and rules. Once you figure them out, you can record these rules into your rulebook.
After a while you no longer depend on the rulebook and can start going with the flow, solving chest after chest without issue. After you master all the dungeons the game has to offer, you can test your skills with an endless mode and challenges.
