"A Dog Story" is a story-rich exploration game about love, loss, and letting go — told through the eyes of a dog who doesn’t know she has died.

You are Black, a small black mutt who wakes up at the bottom of a well in the middle of a storm. Confused and frightened, she claws her way back to the garden, eager to return to her family — only to find the house empty, her scent fading, and shadows moving through the rain.
Across six days and nights, Black roams the empty home and garden, searching for her boy. She watches over the house from unseen terrors, ventures into haunting dreamlike dungeons, and confronts grotesque ghostly creatures — all while holding on to the fading hope that life might still return to normal. But with each passing night, the world becomes more distorted, the memories more fractured — and something in the darkness is calling her back.

This isn’t just your average narrative adventure. Between chasing echoes in empty rooms and hiding from shadows that shouldn't exist, you’ll also be answering delightfully absurd quizzes that reveal hidden sides of your personality—even the ones you didn’t know existed.
