[h2]The forest is forgetting[/h2]
[p]At the heart of the forest stands the Mother Oak. She kept her memories in seven seeds and gave each one to a guardian. Then the Blight came, and the guardians forgot who they were. With the last of her strength, the Oak let a single leaf fall and asked it to bring her memories home. The forest calls him Leafman.[/p]
[h2]A hero made of leaves[/h2]
[p]Stand still and Leafman holds his shape. Start moving and he comes apart into a swirl of leaves, then gathers himself again the moment you stop. He leaps from wall to wall, glides on warm air, bounces off thorns and dashes straight through danger. Deeper in, he learns to swing from old roots and ride a gust of wind upward.[/p]
[h2]Fight like a storm[/h2]
[p]His weapons grow from the forest itself: a leaf blade, a thorn whip, a heavy oak maul, petal fangs, a seed bow and a wind fan. Next to his weapon he carries a second gift: a leaf bow, a shield that turns blows aside, bramble traps, pollen bombs or grasping roots. The two work together. Wrap a beast in a cocoon of leaves and crush it. Lift a brute into the air and slam it down. Grab something small and throw it at its friends.[/p]
[h2]Seven realms to cleanse[/h2]
[p]Pass through the Sunlit Glade, the Glowing Hollow, the Ember Thicket, the Misty Marsh, the Windy Peaks and the Fungal Depths on your way down to the Blighted Heart. Every realm has its own creatures, hazards and music, and a hard boss fight waiting inside: a boar in briar armour, a crystal centipede that swims through stone, a serpent hiding between three pools, a stag crowned with ice. The guardians aren't yours to kill. Cleanse them, and the Oak remembers a little more.[/p]
[h2]A forest that notices you[/h2]
[p]Grass bends as you pass and springs back behind you. Birds scatter and return, fish leap from the water and fireflies drift through the dark. Words carved into stone by the leaves of earlier autumns follow a trail of ash, and whoever left it.[/p]
[h2]After the last leaf falls[/h2]
[p]The story has an ending, and then the Mother Oak's roots open. Inside them are eight nights out of the last true autumn, walked one at a time, and waiting at the end of them is a man with soil on his hands who only ever wanted one leaf not to fall. There are seven halls of endless waves, seven keepers called back one after another, three standing challenges on every level you have already finished, and a harder second journey for anyone who wants to begin again. The leaves Leafman is made of change colour for the ones you finish.[/p]
[h2]Come back stronger[/h2]
[p]Between realms you return to the Sanctuary in the Great Tree. Spend sunmotes on the Leaf Tree, grow heart seeds from golden acorns, and choose your weapon and your gift. For every memory you bring home, a new sapling rises beside the Oak. When you want a break from the story, Chaos Mode sends endless waves at you with a single life.[/p]
