Photos, reports, and notes help reconstruct the course of events, but they do not hand you a ready-made answer. It is up to you which leads you connect and who you ultimately hold responsible.

The analysis begins back at the office. Review case files, check photos, use the police database, and pin the most important information to the investigation board. A name, address, date, occupation, or brief mention in a report may turn out to be the missing piece of the puzzle.
If something does not add up, you can return to the crime scene and examine it again. Midnight Files focuses on calm investigation, careful observation, and connecting facts instead of leading you straight to the solution.
