Champions of The Cosmos

Champions of the Cosmos is a retro sci-fi RTS inspired by 80's action figures, comics and movies. Play heroes with the power to reshape the landscape around them and other unique abilities to take over the cosmos and choose whichever side you sympathize with most - light or darkness. 

Developed as a vertical slice in just four months, this student project presents a playable demo that offers a first glimpse of our vision.

Terraforming
Harness the power of the rare ore Terranium to reshape the battlefield in the heat of combat. Raise hills and mountains to your advantage or tear open the ground and hurl your enemies into the planet’s core. Even greater powers await those who master the Terranium Laboratory, where new abilities can be researched and unleashed.

Light and Darkness 
Choose which side you will conquer the galaxy with, light or darkness. Each faction offers unique heroes and slightly different mechanics. All units on both sides are fully and authentically voice-acted.

Game Modes
In Champions of the Cosmos, you can choose between three modes. Learn the basics of both factions, combat, and general gameplay flow in the Tutorial. Embark on a narrative-driven journey in the Campaign, or challenge yourself against the AI in Skirmish-Mode, on three distinct maps to test your skills and mastery of the game.
