Monstopia is a narrative-driven, choice-based information comparison game. Players take on the role of a demon managing a horror-themed amusement park, interviewing different monster races to recruit the right "monster talents" for the park.

A long, long time ago, humans and monsters had this awkward phase of living together. The monsters' whole deal was "give 'em a good scare and a good laugh" — basically trying to add some fun and terror to boring old farming life back in the day.

But humans? Way too fragile and sensitive. They totally misread the whole "fun scare service" thing and called it "terrorism." So after getting chased off and wiped out, the easygoing monsters figured, "Fine, we can't win this fight — but we can disappear." And that's exactly what they did. They went underground, into the deep woods, or down to the bottom of the ocean.
