《The Faceless Prisoner》 is a story-driven suspense game that fuses folklore and psychological horror. Its gameplay centers on three pillars: confrontational dialogue, evidence-gathering & deduction, and criminal psychological profiling.

Story Synopsis：
On the night of the Ghost Festival 2008, five women return to the abandoned Huaihai Art University. They draw a summoning circle, mix their own blood, and drink it… One of them instantly loses her mind, babbling and thrashing; the others swear they saw a ghostly face in the mirror…

Days later, the urban legend of the “Hunchback Hag” begins to spread.

“They say the malicious spirit, the Hunchback Hag, mounts a victim like a second skin, clinging to their back. Once possessed, the host unknowingly commits unspeakable acts…
You might wake to find your hands and lips caked with some creature’s blood…
One moment you’re chatting with friends, the next you’re lunging at them with a knife…
At times you’ll hear inhuman whispers at your ear…
And in a dim mirror you might glimpse the Hag’s wicked grin over your own shoulder…”

What began as idle gossip turns deadly: a wave of brutal assaults grips Huaihai City. Multiple suspects insist the Hunchback Hag made them do it. Forced to take the “summoning” seriously, the police launch an investigation.

Is it truly demonic possession?
Or a calculated conspiracy?

Li Jin’an—a brilliant criminal psychologist—applies his razor-sharp mind to peel back the layers of the legend, unearthing truths buried deep beneath superstition and fear.

Yet no one notices the unseen forces swirling around him, dragging him toward an abyss from which there is no return…
