Re-routed on a return trip from the Kuiper Belt and stranded on Titan, the player must navigate through a sprawling research facility plagued by a fatal darkness with nothing but their wits and their limited toolkit to guide the way.

What Lies Within The Ivory Tower is a story driven, first person, action adventure platformer set on Titan. Players must use their wits to navigate a facility plagued by a deadly darkness. Use light to guide your way and avoid death, adjust gravity generators to make otherwise impossible jumps with Titan's lower gravity, or use creative problem solving and the environment around you to figure out solutions to the issue at hand. 

Enter the shoes of Jockey. A cargo jockey aboard the USCV Caldera performing one of the solar system's most desirable, dangerous, and for the pilots they help, loathed jobs. Sent into The Minerva Complex to do their dirty work, Jockey stumbles into a rabbit hole so deep it takes them to the very core of Titan itself.

What Lies Within The Ivory Tower is designed with replayability in mind. The main game aims to be a few hours long, with challenge runs to help push people who truly want to test themselves. Want to try a no flashlight run? What about no overtime for the darkness? What about not using the environment to help you at all? What Lies Within The Ivory Tower aims to have many ways to complete levels, wether you're just here for the story or someone who loves to challenge yourself, there are different ways to play for various play-styles and people.

Set on Titan, Saturn's Moon - The Minerva Complex is a sprawling privately owned research and mining facility owned by the Ithax Corporation - a company richer than most planets in the solar system. Explore the depths of The Minerva Complex and fall further into the darkness to find out just What Lies Within The Ivory Tower. 

A Mid-Century, Jazz Fusion inspired, story focused adventure
Inspired by the works of Jun Fukamachi's album 'QUARK' and the evergreen stylings of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s - What Lies Within The Ivory Tower aims to be as beautiful as it is haunting. Warm tones, film grain and comfy fabrics are all a masquerade for a sinister darkness which you have to fight against. 

What Lies Within The Ivory Tower aims to cement itself as a new entry to Jazz Fusion with its soundtrack, and redefine visual genres with its visual style dubbed 'Cigarette Futurism'
