GAARL! is a difficult roguelike action platformer. Wield your chain gun to fight monsters in tense arcade combat, or fire it into walls to climb through handcrafted arenas. Buy upgrades, create wacky builds, get good health insurance, and unlock the mysteries of GABE'S ACTION ARCADE ROGUELIKE!
Simple Mechanics
Your only tool is a chain gun, shoot it at enemies to deal damage, aim it at anything else to deploy a climbable chain. Retrieve your chains, and manage your ammo carefully.
High Skill Ceiling
Learn the enemies and environments, and manage your positioning carefully. Engage with a powerful perk system that offers qualitative changes to the way that you play. Hire private security, wield magical swords, release predatory lady bugs, cover your body in spikes, drink the blood of your foes!
