Previously on My Bloody Weekend
In the years following the last massacre, countless cult members have fallen at the hands of one of their intended victims. Having survived the events of the second chapter, Nick began a personal crusade against the Cult of the Elders. Armed with forbidden knowledge gained from the Ancient's manual, he tracked the cult and their heinous harvesting plan, saving other designated targets. Their next target is a woman bearing the mark of the Mother Earth. The ritual must be stopped, or this weekend, an Ancient will be brought back to life.

Who's Mother Earth?
The Mother Earth, the ultimate blesser of all that lives, is thus chronicled within the Tome of the Ancient:
"First amongst her Kind, She doth embrace the Life-power Itself. Releasing periodically an high spiritual energy upon the mortal world, She doth select and mark a Woman to seal this power within her flesh. The Marked, by decree, shall see their mortal abilities and reflexes heightened, causing them to excel far beyond the common human standard. Should the Marked perish, an insurmountable peak of spiritual energy shall be loosed upon the world, which no living mortal soul may then embrace."

Who's the Leach King?
The Lich King serves as the primary leader of the Cult in the modern era. Having died once, he was returned to life by the darkest magic, granting him unnatural powers. The Tome of the Ancient describes him thus:
"In every age, the Lich King shall ever lead the Cult in its most fruitful mission. Freed from the rotten flesh that doth ensnare our true power, the Lich King is blessed by the Ancients with clearer vision into the destiny of the world. The Lich King shall never truly perish: for when a new King is decreed, his spirit and mind shall bond with his Ancestors. Only the most faithful and ruthless members may inherit this sacred mantle. He shall then discern the Moon's phases and the turning of the Ages, that he may best organize the most profitable Harvest strategy."
