Overview

Whiskers’ Wish is an adventure game about abandoned kittens. Playing as one of the strays, you must explore a vast city park and find your way to the Sunday Adoption Fair. But the park is more than just greenery—it conceals hidden dangers and mysteries that could shatter the kittens’ dreams. Throughout the journey, you will explore charming scenery, meet friendly (and not-so-friendly) animals, solve challenging puzzles, and experience a heartwarming story inspired by the real-life issue of animal abandonment in Belo Horizonte’s Parque Municipal Américo Renê Gianetti.
Story
You play as Cora, a kitten abandoned by her caretakers and left alone in the city park in the dead of night. Found and sheltered by a group of older stray cats—survivors of similar trauma—Cora learns to find food, avoid danger, defend herself, and master the skills needed to survive the streets. Her world changes when she hears of the Sunday Adoption Fair—a glimmer of hope that becomes her deepest wish: to find her very own “fur-ever” home. But her journey takes an unexpected turn as Cora and her friends uncover a sinister threat rising from the park’s shadows, one that endangers all its inhabitants. Can Cora solve this mystery before it’s too late? The answer lies in your paws.

Play with a Purpose
This game is inspired by a real and widespread issue. Major cities around the world often feature central parks designed as natural refuges for people. Tragically, these same spaces are frequently used to abandon pets, leaving them to fend for themselves against diseases, fights with other strays, and even human mistreatment.
Our studio's home city of Belo Horizonte is part of this sad statistic. Its main park, Parque Municipal Américo Renê Gianetti, is currently home to a colony of over 200 abandoned cats. The non-profit S.O.S Gatinhos do Parque works tirelessly to mitigate their suffering by providing daily food, improvised shelters, and vital medical care. Their operation faces two constant challenges: a need for more volunteers to help feed and care for the cats, and the resources to fund their work.
That is why a portion of Whiskers' Wish's profits will be donated directly to S.O.S Gatinhos do Parque. We also hope our game inspires players to learn about and support the incredible volunteer efforts happening in parks everywhere.

1 Secret Sanctuary: "The Community," a hidden refuge known only to the cats, nestled deep among the park's ancient trees, where they can rest in relative safety.

Chaotic Slingshot Battles
The daily struggles of street life are a reality for stray animals, and our game reflects this truth. However, to preserve the game's cozy atmosphere, we've reimagined these conflicts as chaotic slingshot battles that you can choose to skip.
From the kittens' perspective, these moments transform into a "make-believe world," where real-world scratches and bites become playful bouncy clouds. Simply point, pull, and release to launch yourself into the chaos and hit as many "enemies" as you can in a burst of harmless, kinetic fun!

Grow wiser and stronger
Join Cora, Sol, and Sombra on a dual journey: to heal their hearts and strengthen their paws. Advance through the story to see them overcome the scars of abandonment. Simultaneously, power them up by finding special cardboard boxes for unique stat boosts and slingshot effects, and by unlocking new abilities with each level they gain.
