Two of A Kind

Two of a Kind is a top-down 2D action-puzzle game that offers players the chance to cooperate and fight against fictional enemies within a cyborg system. The puzzles and enemy encounters are built around the two characters’ different abilities—sword and gun—creating interactions between players and the system. 
The game has three levels. Each level has a boss. Two players will play with the split screen. They sometimes fight on their own to find the path and come together to solve the puzzle and fight against the powerful boss. As the players go through more levels, they can find more secrets behind the cyborg and computer system. 
The control is easy. The player can just move and swing or shoot, but there are surprising interactions between players. For example, the sword character can swing and deflect the bullet from the gun character. Other interesting interactions can be explored when players play the game. 
The playtime of this game is about 30 minutes. The art style of the game is pixel art, and the soundtrack consists of 8-bit music, which creates a retro vibe. The player will feel collaborative, sometimes a little bit confused, and excited after beating powerful enemies and solve the puzzle.
