The Saplum Cradle

The Saplum Cradle is a narrative-driven, pixel-art, surrealist exploration game about travelling the realm of Saplum, a mysterious dimension where the forlorn and abandoned are left to rot for their misdeeds.
You play as Amber, a child under the care of a mysterious demon named Asterisk. Amber is able to read the memories of the dead, and must use this power to look for supplies hidden among the ruins that dot the wasteland. Of course, one should always be careful when exploring: there's always a reason something falls into Saplum, and more often than not, that reason survives the fall.

Explore
Over 40 in-game days, freely travel across the treacherous, uncharted region of the Three Bridges in order to find the ruins of fallen civilisations.
Scavenge
Use your powers to scavenge these ruins, reading the memories of the dead in order to discover important supplies, and the backstory behind the fallen worlds you visit.
Respite
At the end of each day, use the supplies you've gathered to prepare meals for yourself and others.
Uncover
Travel alongside other survivors dwelling within Saplum, and discover the truth behind the wider world, and your reason for being there.

The game can be completed in approximately 10 hours.
