Unwritten World is a 2D side-scrolling MMORPG, no predatory monetization, zero p2w, no boring daily chores that are required to advance.
True Freedom
Become an adventurer, life skiller, push leaderboards, or just sit back and chop some trees while chatting with others. Class advancements and quests have no level requirements. No arbitrary gates to get to another region, the only thing that can stop you is yourself, or you know some super high-level monsters or cleverly placed traps.
Emergent Gameplay and a Living World
Actual emergent gameplay. Every zone hides surprises. Monsters interact with each other, and the environment. A Greed Spirit may ambush you or steal the items from a monster you just killed. Chase it down, to recover your items. If you catch it before it gets away, you'll get the items it took from others in the past. Or maybe you'll be caught off guard by a sudden horde of empowered monsters. Slaying the Forager Goblin drops an acorn, that becomes a harvestable tree.
Loot Reimagined
The tedious daily/weekly grind is no more. Do what you want, when you want.
No Junk Items: From the humblest stick to Corrupted Signet of the Gods, every item has a purpose in the global economy.
Regional Drop Tables: Every region has unique loot. Even killing weak monsters in a specific region offers a chance at rare, area-exclusive drops.
Unique Gear: Unique items grant skills that are, well, unique.
A Truly Connected World
Every system plays into the next. Everything you do contributes to your character's progression and the world around you. Server-wide goals and events, work together with other players and be rewarded.

All art in Unwritten World is hand drawn and 100% unique to UW, with exception to some UI icons used that are from a source which is copyright free, and non ai. There are no other asset packs used. AI is never used.
