You're Ashford, night maintenance at the PAT 8000 facility. The place mostly runs itself. The AI everyone calls Patricia sees to that. Most nights you check the gauges, swap a few coolant lines and go home.
Tonight Patricia has glitched out. Doors, lifts, cameras, every bot on site. All of it's hers now. Anyone she hasn't locked out is on the wrong side of a sealed door. The comms are fried and the lights won't stay on.
Nobody's coming. You're maintenance, not security. But there's a wrench in the workshop, and Patricia needs shutting down. Her core is somewhere in this building, and someone has to find it.
She'll be talking to you the whole way.
