Final Orbit is a culmination of over 5 years of development, combining realistic space flight physics, orbital mechanics, large scale solar systems and full fidelity cockpits.
The Cockpit
Inspired by modern aircraft such as the F-35, the cockpit features a large touch display which can be customized to the pilot's preference and mission parameters. Each display has a purpose, and every button has a function. Learn how to manage every aspect of the spacecraft including propellant, heat, and power.

The Physics
Getting from one point to another is achieved with realistic space flight physics. So be ready to plot maneuvers and encounters using actual orbital mechanics! But don't worry - this is easier than it sounds thanks to the onboard nav display.

The World
Every planet and moon in Final Orbit is hand crafted, and nothing is procedurally generated. You will be able to fly between the moons of a gas giants, dock with orbital platforms, travel between planets and even solar systems, all with realistic scale and distances.

Shipping, Trading, and Upgrades
Take shipping contracts or buy and sell commodities to build your fortune. Money will get you better modules for your craft, new spacecraft, and more. But optimizing your spacecraft is not just about getting the most expensive components: for example, your choice of insulation and radiators will depend on how close or far you'll want to get to the sun.

VR and HOTAS supported
Note: VR is not supported in the current playtest version, and will be fully supported in the future.
For the ultimate realistic experience, step into the cockpit in VR and operate the craft with either VR controllers or HOTAS.
