On the tenth floor of the afterlife’s Chancellery, another soul approaches your desk. Their paperwork is in order. Their story is ready. All they need is your stamp - if you believe them.
The Final Stamp is a first-person detective game about investigating the lives of the dead and deciding where they belong: Hell, Heaven, or Purgatory. You have their belongings, their testimony, a few questionable instruments, and a rulebook with an entry for every sin.
Hear their side
A truck driver talks about the crash and his family. Johny Goldstein talks about his charity work. Everyone arrives with a story. Getting the rest of it takes some work.
Ask questions, catch contradictions, and return with evidence. Confront a soul with what you’ve found and listen as their explanation changes. Sometimes the new version sounds even more convincing.
Some answers require a call to Hell
Hold the Candle near a soul and watch its flame change colour to reveal a sin. Examine belongings through the Lens, test a suspicion with the Camera, or tune the Radio to a conversation from the past.
Need a record checked? Pick up the phone. The afterlife has departments, extensions, and employees who need you to explain exactly what you’re asking for.
Build your case, word by word
Words from documents and testimony become tiles on your desk. Combine them with other clues to reconstruct events, establish a motive, and build the grounds for your judgment.
How someone died is just the beginning. What they did before that tends to raise more questions.
One stamp. Three eternities.
Consult the Codex, choose a destination, and fill out the routing form. Nine circles of Hell, seven levels of Heaven, seven stages of Purgatory. Somewhere in there is a place for the person sitting across from you.
A convenient explanation could send a murderer to Heaven. A suspicious detail could mean nothing at all. Decide whether you know enough, then stamp the form and send it into the urn.

The Chancellery holds traces of the clerks who worked here before you. Explore the office between cases and find out how you ended up on this side of the desk.
Some souls hide a different truth on another playthrough, so recognising a face won’t give you the answer. Your own story leads to one of two endings, shaped by how you do your job.
