Asa's Ascended

What's different from other bullethells?
Tired of aimless openworld bullethells where you either need to spend minutes looking for a dungeon or give up $2 for a key? Asa's Ascended is all of the boss fights with none of the hassle and corporate greed.
Create your own boss?
This game is built with BulletML which makes it really easy to create your own boss and share it with others in the game's Steam workshop. Cool items and bosses created by the community will get added to the main game!
Permadeath?
Standard characters are NOT permadeath. Feel free to go balls deep for damage and get a high ranking on the leaderboards.
If you need more of a challenge, make your character a Mortal. Death will cause the loss of your character, equips, bag, and even the bank tied to that character.
Not enough? Try Outcast. This has all the challenges of Mortal with the addition of not being able to join player parties. Good luck soloing!
Can I Nexus?
Nope. Once you enter a battle, you either leave a victor or a corpse. That's not an issue in Standard mode since you will be revived without a scratch and without any lost items, but as a Mortal or Outcast, your character is deleted.
This is much more interesting than games where you play it safe and can return home when your HP goes below %50.
Got friends?
Invite up to 4 friends to group up and grind bosses through Steam's peer-to-peer connection. This game encourages a tank/damage/healer trio which is supported through an aggression point system.

Down for competition?
Each boss has a leaderboard for the fastest time and the most kills. Each group size has it's own time leaderboard so there's a fastest time for solos, duos, trios, etc.
Community-driven development... but for real.
Some games use this term lightly, but I'm not some weird company or owned by a corporation. If you have an issue or want a feature, just ask me about it in the Discord and I'll do my best to help you and make this game better.
Price? Micro-transactions = Charity donations?
There is a Free edition and a $10 Deluxe edition. The Free edition has all the same content.
The Free edition has 3 character slots and 10 vault slots per character. The Deluxe edition has 50 character slots and a vault slot for every item per character. Other Deluxe edition perks include: infinite name changes and free skins.
There will be a few skins that will be purchased separately for any donation amount over $1. After Steam gets their cut, %80 of the profits will go toward a charity tied to that skin, and the other %20 will go to me.
