Hostile Paths is a challenging top-down survival roguelike about pushing deeper into an unknown post-apocalyptic world with limited resources and no guarantee that you will make it back.
Every run is a journey into the unknown. Explore procedurally generated routes filled with resources, missions, points of interest, enemies, and threats you may not yet understand. Learn how the world works, remember what killed you, and use that knowledge to survive longer on the next run.
Your tank gives you firepower, but it does not make you safe. Fuel, supplies, ammunition, repairs, and inventory space are limited. What you carry, what you leave behind, when you fight, and when you retreat are part of the challenge.
Death is expected. Each failed run teaches you more about the enemies, resources, routes, and dangers waiting deeper in the wasteland. Progress comes from learning, adapting, and making better decisions, not simply from winning every fight.
Scavenge weapons, equipment, and resources to adapt your tank during each run. Travel through frozen wastelands, scorched deserts, and toxic territories, each introducing new threats and forcing you to reconsider how far you are willing to push your luck.
Combat is dangerous and often costly. Some encounters are worth the resources they consume. Others are better avoided. Survive long enough and you will eventually face unique boss encounters that test what you have learned along the way.
