Essence Blade

Essence Blade is a fantasy adventure with beat ’em up combat, focused on fast action, memorable bosses, and an emotional story about desire and choice. 
You play as Zymia, a swordswoman chosen by a mysterious blade that contains Aeris, the Dragon Goddess of Desire. Long ago, six other Dragon Goddesses sealed Aeris away, fearing her influence on the world. Now, that seal is weakening, and the journey begins. 
Guided by Lilith, a playful traveling companion who also acts as your shop, explore a world shaped by powerful Dragon Goddesses. Each region leads to a unique boss encounter, where combat is followed by conversations that reveal their reasons, regrets, and beliefs.
Combat is inspired by classic beat ’em ups: fast, responsive, and easy to pick up, with room to experiment. Unlock new abilities through cards earned with Essences, allowing you to shape your playstyle.
Essence Blade blends epic fantasy with emotional and sensual undertones, treating desire as a source of strength rather than corruption. The story unfolds naturally through dialogue, boss encounters, and the growing bond between Zymia, Lilith, and Aeris.
