ASTRIDER

ASTRIDER is an arcade flight sim with fully-voiced visual novel story sequences between missions, set in an alt-history Cold War setting where a number of conspiracy theories about our world are simply the reality.
The earth is flat. There is a physical firmament dome, and some are not happy with that. The heir of Anastasia lives, and holds sway over the Eurasian heartland. The republican Triarchy asserts itself in mirror of ancient Rome, laying claim to the coastal regions of the world. A third power bides its time under the ice wall, hoping to reclaim what was once lost.
Fly and fight. Choose from a variety of aircraft per-faction, with free flight and mission replays enabling the use of any unlocked aircraft. Missions feature targets on land, at sea, and in the air, across a wide variety of locations and atmospheric conditions.
Earn your rank. Missions are scored by time and target value. Balance helping your allies stay alive and advance their own ranks against competing with them for a high enough score to advance through the aircraft unlocks faster.
Get to know your comrades. Each mission features scripted radio voiceovers of friend and foe alike, and some who are friends in one campaign might be dangerous foes in another. Between sorties, fully voiced, illustrated, replayable story scenes that will change based on what happens during missions and some of your dialogue choices, letting you get to know your allies better.
