Media & Warfare is a singleplayer FPS game inspired by late-2000s design with modern boomer shooter influences. Slide behind walls to heal, rack up massive killstreaks, and process the collective trauma of 9/11 like it's 2007.
Each level is designed to give a feeling of progress. Good pacing is what makes a linear shooter work and it's one of the main aspects I focused on while making the game.
My approach to replayability is making levels that are intrinsically fun to run through again and again.
Spend your killstreak on grenades and seeing enemies through walls. Summon air strikes through the power of the military industrial complex in your American veins.
Hiding behind walls to heal is back and sped up for your convenience. Media & Warfare is a blend of cover based action sped up by indie boomer shooter movement.
