Aspiren is a game about the life of an adventurer.
In a world of swords, monsters, and magic, being an adventurer isn't a heroic title. It's a job.
Take contracts from Adventurers Guilds, travel into dangerous places, hunt creatures, protect travelers, recover what has been lost, and take on whatever work others are unwilling to do. Every contract comes with its own conditions, risks, and rewards—and once you accept one, you are responsible for seeing it through.
A World Still Being Discovered
Adventurers are often the first people to face what lies beyond the known world.
Not everything is understood. Creatures, places, and dangers can remain mysteries even to those who study them. The knowledge gathered by adventurers becomes valuable to the people who come after them.
In Aethelgard, every expedition is another chance to learn something about the world. 

Live the Life of an Adventurer
There isn't always a job waiting for you.
When the work is good, save your earnings. When it's not, make what you have last. Buy equipment, rest, eat, hire other adventurers, and decide when a risky contract is worth taking.
Your life outside of adventuring matters too. Spend time with the people you meet, enjoy the quieter moments, and make your own way through Aethelgard.  
Every Quest Is a Gamble
The higher the risk, the greater the reward.
Some contracts are straightforward. Others come with strict conditions where losing your life—or a member of your party—can mean losing the contract itself.
Even failure has a price. Death can reduce your final reward, while hired adventurers still expect their share. Sometimes the smartest choice isn't fighting harder, but knowing when the risk is no longer worth the money.

You don't have to face every contract alone.
Hire adventurers to accompany you and build a temporary party suited to the job ahead. Different adventurers bring different abilities and fighting styles, allowing you to create your own combination for each contract.
Bring the right people and make the job easier.
Or go alone and keep everything you earn.

Complete contracts, prove yourself to the guilds, and climb the ranks of the Adventurers Guild. Greater recognition can open the door to better opportunities, higher-risk contracts, and services that aren't available to everyone.

The Story of Tobias Arden
Tobias Arden arrived in Aethelgard looking for a new life.
Once a man who swore to protect others, he was forced to flee his homeland of Kaelenor after being made an outlaw through political circumstances beyond his control. With his old identity left behind, Tobias begins again as an ordinary adventurer in a land far from home.
The Adventurers Guild doesn't care about his past.
They care about the work that needs to be done.
What begins as a simple life of contracts, companions, danger, and survival will eventually become something much greater.
Aspiren is not about chasing glory.
It's about living a life worth remembering.
