In Joey’s Slimeventure, you follow Joey as he ventures deeper and deeper into a mysterious underground world. Jump, fight, and find your own way through branching cave systems filled with hidden chambers, dangerous creatures, unusual challenges, and mysterious places.
These caves are not simple levels that lead from left to right. Procedurally generated layouts, validated for playability, connect vertical passages, side paths, larger chambers, and hidden areas into ever-changing cave systems. Handcrafted pixel art, dynamic lighting, vegetation, and distinct biomes give each region its own identity.
EXPLORE INSTEAD OF JUST FOLLOWING THE PATH
The most obvious route is not always the only one. Leave the main path, discover hidden rooms, collect essence and materials, and keep an eye out for unusual locations and rare finds.
The deeper Joey travels, the more the world begins to change from overgrown, living caves to darker and increasingly hostile regions.
MORE THAN JUST PLATFORMING
Each section presents Joey with new challenges. Activate mysterious cave mechanisms, solve resonance- and light-based objectives, master traversal challenges, and fight through special encounters to open the way forward.
Along the journey, Joey gains new abilities that expand both movement and exploration.
FACE THE CREATURES OF THE DEPTHS
Not everything that moves in the caves wants to hurt you but plenty of it does.
Take on enemies with their own movement and attack patterns, chain your attacks, and learn when to strike and when to dodge. Larger encounters and bosses demand more than simple button-mashing.
Defeated creatures can drop materials and rare items that can be collected and used for crafting.

New cave regions introduce their own environments, creatures, hazards, landmarks, and mechanics.
