Seas of Static

Welcome aboard, Admiral.
A world choked by the fallout of a decades-long nuclear conflict continues to act out the motions of this war whose onset is remembered by none. As economies collapse and supplies falter, nations recommission relics of old wars. You captain the Dreadnought, an ancient warship retrofitted with a nuclear reactor. Serving as the long arm of the Empire’s navy, you hunt, battle, and vanquish your nation’s enemies. It is not your duty to question these orders, it is your duty to act.

Venture into the Seas of Static

Once known as the Pacific Ocean, the Seas of Static are now a marine graveyard. Fallout permeates their deepest reaches, erasing all traces of the flora and fauna of old. Now, steel behemoths prowl these silent waves, still fighting the same war that brought the seas to ruin.

Command your Fleet

Command your fleet from the Dreadnought’s bridge. Storms of highly concentrated fallout disrupt all forms of digital and analog communication. Use an extensive suite of combat, reconnaissance, and utility tools to pinpoint the position of vessels on the battlefield and strike when you are confident. Manage your resources carefully. Supplies are thin across the seas as few vessels are capable of braving the fallout to restock your stores. Victory is your goal, above all. Allied losses are inevitable, but sacrifices must be made. Do not let their lives weigh on you. They would willingly give them again in service of the Empire.

Expand your Arsenal

Expand the capabilities of the Dreadnought over the course of the story. Install powerful new tools to help tackle all manner of threats you may encounter at sea.

Do not Falter

The title of Admiral is a great honor, but it has been known to weigh on those who don it. The Empire assures you that radiation within the bridges of all commissioned warships is well below hazardous levels, however, should you begin experiencing auditory/visual hallucinations while stationed, do not panic. Simply recite the empire's core tenets, Stability, Prosperity, Victory, until hallucinations have subsided.
