True Confession is a game aimed at fans of action movies 80-00 years (Heat, Training Day, The Wire, The Departured). In visual style resembles postal plus, crimsonland, gta2. So it's oldschool but seasoned with modern mechanics and deep religious and psychological plot.

The main character (Henry Hughes) tormented by nightmares, in which he dreams of gunfights and murders. Henry is a religious man and he is frightened by the attraction of anger and hatred that he experiences in his dreams - with these feelings he goes to the pastor and consults with him.
Every day echoes in Henry's subconscious, in his ruthless dreams. 
It covers the topics of crime in the streets, emotions, religion, psychoanalysis, alcoholism, unemployment and so on.

The game is hardcore, each opponent can pose a fatal threat and gives rise to a healthy sense of rivalry. True Confession is distinguished by its down-to-earthness, the game does not have automatic health regeneration and superpowers, an important distinctive mechanic of the game is "anger".
As the game aims to feel grounded, there are no rocket launchers, flamethrowers, or tanks — this game is about crime in the streets, not the battlefield.

All graphics and animations are handdrawn and 3d rendered, without any use of AI.
