THE HALLWAY is a chilling, text-based psychological horror experience where you must uncover the tragic truth of who you are, and how you came to be trapped inside this nightmarish world.

But no matter what you do.

You always get dragged back.

THE HALLWAY slowly unravels an emotional, disturbing mystery surrounding your character, revealing pieces of the truth through environmental changes, hidden details, strange encounters, and fragmented memories.

The deeper you go, the more familiar everything becomes.

THE HALLWAY doesn't simply repeat.

Throughout the game, you'll be brought back to the place where you first woke up.

But things won't always be the same.

What was once familiar may not be there the next time you return.

Reality isn't always reliable.

Throughout your journey, random hallucinations and reality glitches can occur, creating unexpected encounters and altering what you see.

These events can reveal additional pieces of the story and offer exploration while ensuring that different playthroughs can contain different experiences.

No two journeys through THE HALLWAY are guaranteed to feel the same.

There are four possible endings, each reflecting the path you took through the hallway.

Which one will you reach?

Over the top? Maybe. Cool? Absolutely.

THE HALLWAY features partial controller support for XInput devices, including a custom keyboard‑style interface that can be operated entirely with a controller. Enabling and disabling it is simple: Type controller on your keyboard to activate controller mode, and press B on your controller to turn it off once enabled.

THE HALLWAY is designed to accommodate every kind of player:

Those who prefer keyboard and mouse.

Those who want to experience the game with a controller.

At this time, controller functionality is limited to XInput‑compatible controllers, ensuring stable input and consistent behavior across supported devices. 

It’s important to note that controller commands, specifically enabling or disabling controller mode can only be entered in the starting area. You may activate or deactivate controller support during different loops, but the command itself must always be typed while you are in the starting zone.

Sound is a major part of the experience.

THE HALLWAY features dynamic audio that changes alongside the game, including a soundtrack composed specifically for the game.

Different loops, locations, events, hallucinations, and endings can trigger different sounds and music.

Sometimes the most frightening thing isn't what you see.

It's what you hear.

There is more to THE HALLWAY than what is immediately presented to you.

Curious players may discover secret commands, hidden areas, unusual interactions, and other pieces of content scattered throughout the game.
