About the Game
The Steel and Blood Legend of the North China Plain
Based on the real history of the Central Hebei Anti-Mop-up Campaigns during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, this game takes you back to an epic era. Experience the fierce struggle between behind-enemy-lines forces and the well-equipped imperial forces and their proxies.
Rather than focusing on a single battle, the game distills the reality of the behind-enemy-lines war in Central Hebei. From defending villages and ambushing in crop fields to sabotaging railways, clearing outposts, and breaking blockades, it recreates the most authentic and intense guerrilla tactics of the war. Weave through the sorghum fields and tactical trenches, break multi-pronged encirclements with flexible strategies, and join countless unsung heroes to write a legendary chapter on this blood-soaked soil!

Gameplay Features
Innovative TD + RTS Gameplay
A war-themed strategy game that seamlessly fuses classic Tower Defense with Real-Time Strategy (RTS). While retaining classic path building and unit upgrades, the game introduces realistic bidirectional combat, unit casualties, and real-time mobility. Facing dynamic enemy advances and heavy firepower suppression, you must flexibly reposition mobile troops and adjust defensive lines to claim victory in the fog of war.

Grant Unique Unit Titles
The game currently features five unit types. Each unit type has its own attributes and growth tree, and can later be granted unique titles that unlock special abilities.
Buildings also have different upgrade paths. You may train a squad into an elite assault force, or refine them into calm, lethal sharpshooters to eliminate high-value targets.

Choose Tactical Doctrines
The game offers around ten core tactical doctrines. These doctrines can be learned and developed through campaign progress, and each one significantly changes your strategic options and overall playstyle.

Ignite the National Spirit
Red Epic features an original “National Spirit” system, serving as the main progression line throughout the campaign.
Heroes who fall in battle are not forgotten. Their sacrifice becomes part of a greater cause, strengthening the spirit that carries the Red Army forward. The strength of the Red Army does not come from superior weapons, but from the will and sacrifice of countless revolutionary predecessors.
