SNUFF

The US West Coast. Los Frontera. Hell on Earth. This town is known as the center of the snuff industry—the production of videos containing real murders, which are subsequently sold on the black market. Finding such a tape here is easier than a loaf of bread.
Alan Baker has lived here as long as he can remember. A seasoned junkie, he is obsessed with snuff, like most of the city’s residents. Living in one apartment with Joseph, his friend, and Anya, whom he cares about, Alan gets by doing odd jobs and dealing drugs. All so he can get his hands on another tape.
An unsuccessful attempt to start a romance throws him off balance, but it doesn’t make him give up. Alan tries to find the best tape to impress Anya, but her unexpected disappearance turns everything upside down. The truth becomes clear when Alan finds the film from the new collection, which contains the brutal murder of the woman he loved.
When the first emotions subsided, a thirst for revenge began to consume him. The bubbling hatred, like acid, eats away at him from within.
He will kill everyone who is responsible for Anya’s death—the only thing that still brought him joy. They won’t escape. None of them will escape accountability.

GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW

SNUFF is an FPS immersive sim that combines many game mechanics, and the player can use any of them at their discretion.

The world is consumed with filth. Los Frontera is a center of the snuff industry and a crime-ridden city. Murder and human cruelty have been turned into a profitable industry. Several large gangs have, in fact, taken control of the city. The police and local authorities exist only on paper and can’t actually affect the current situation. The black market in this area has now become just as common as any legitimate one.

Multiple paths, chosen by you. Game situations can be approached in different ways. Negotiate, sneak past them, pretend to be one of them, or just kill everyone in your way. The decision is yours.

A reactive world and NPCs. The world is not static. Your actions will, in the end, have consequences. Both local and global.

The combat system. Use the environment as a weapon. Fire the revolver hidden deep inside the trash container, or just break off a piece of rusty rebar at the construction site and use it as a makeshift tool to get rid of the problem in the form of a person.

The limited inventory. Alan’s pockets are not boundless. There is a limit to how many items he can carry at once; each item takes up space.

Honor system. Your actions have long-term consequences. Kill or spare, save or doom, help or push away.
