OverRead is an experimental reading utility that offers a new way to engage and flow with text. Utilizing a customizable R.S.V.P. (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation) engine, OverRead is designed to help you devour novels, documents, and technical manuals at blazing speeds by eliminating the physical limitations of traditional reading.
When reading a standard page, your eyes are forced to constantly scan back and forth across lines—a mechanical process known as saccades that causes eye fatigue and limits your reading speed. OverRead bypasses this entirely. By locking your eyes onto a single Optical Recognition Point (O.R.P.), the text is flashed directly into your focal center word by word.
No scanning. No losing your place. Just a literal psychological "flow state" where information is absorbed directly into your consciousness.

Import Your Own Library: Bring your own documents. OverRead natively supports importing local `.TXT` and `.PDF` files. The system automatically extracts the text and tracks your exact word-by-word progress.

Tune Your Cognitive Uplink: The human brain has limits, but the terminal is yours to command. Adjust your target "Baud Rate" (WPM) on the fly, and use the "Gradual Speed-Up" feature to ease your brain into high-speed playback automatically.

Optical Customization: Tailor the visual feed to your specific needs. Adjust font scaling, highlight letter positioning, and choose from multiple curated interface themes—from crisp Daylight, to vintage Monochrome Archives.

SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY NOTE:
Please be aware that OverRead’s visual anchoring technique is explicitly designed for alphabetic languages (such as English, Spanish, German, French, etc.). Logographic writing systems (including Chinese and Japanese) rely on entirely different cognitive parsing mechanisms and are not currently optimized or officially supported by this specific R.S.V.P. protocol.
