Hook and Gun is a brutal, fast-paced 2D top-down action roguelike set within the claustrophobic confines of a rising elevator. You are an alien invader that has breached a high-security robot factory. Your objective is simple: take control of a security unit, reach the top floor, corrupt everything in your path, and unleash yourself upon the world.

Hook 'em and Rob 'em: You don’t just shoot; you plunder. Use your advanced grappling hook to pull enemies close or, more importantly, rip the weapons right out of their hands. Once stolen, every weapon becomes even more lethal under your corruptive influence.

The Relentless Ascent: The arena is a moving elevator. Each floor brings more aggressive security droids and deadlier waves. Survival isn't enough—once the timer hits zero, you must eliminate all remaining elite units to clear the path to the next floor.

Dynamic Arena Events: You aren't just fighting robots; you're fighting the facility itself. From toxic gas leaks that shrink the playable area to sudden malfunctions, you’ll need to adapt your strategy in seconds.

Scrap & Evolve: Shred enemy robots and harvest their components to level up mid-combat. At the end of each floor, use your earned level points to unlock dozens of new abilities or upgrade existing ones in a true roguelike fashion. With over 10 weapon types and specialized hook modifications you can craft a unique "corrupted" build in every run.
