Heroes, Warlords and Ruin is a 4x fantasy turn-based strategy game where you create and customize your hero to lead your faction to glory. The world is torn by endless war. Fight evil, form alliances, and establish a new realm in the ruins or take advantage of the chaos to maraud across the world. The fate of the world is in your hands.

Empire management 
Manage the growth of your bustling settlements and supply lines to maximize your economy. Recruit great armies to capture and raid enemy settlements. Level up your champions and equip them with rare items.

Tactical battles 
Command armies of up to hundreds of soldiers in this deep battle system. Use the unique spells and abilities of your heroes and units to lay waste to your enemy. Mix various unit types to maximize your army's effectiveness.

Four Playable Cultures
Play as one of four cultures in their never ending war over this continent. Medlend, the kingdom of knights and princes fighting to maintain their crumbling realm. Boraeloth, the tribes of half giant raiders of the cold north. Kursians, a race of highly numerous rodentkin whose lone desire is endless expansion. Third Imperium, grand industrialized and highly authoritarian empire that seeks to unite all mankind. 
In-Engine Map Editor 
The in-engine map editor allows you to create custom campaigns and scenarios using the same tools used by the developer. Design the terrain, create custom quests, customize map specific factions and heroes, and share your creation with others. 
Mod support
Create and Import custom models, textures, units and even cultures without need to write a line of code.
