Polyzonia is an ecosystem sim set in the Amazon rainforest. Start with a barren patch of land, grow plants, create habitats, and introduce animals when the conditions are right. As time moves forward, seedlings become trees, flowers bloom, fruit ripens, and the first signs of a living ecosystem begin to appear.

Click to trigger ecological actions
Plants and animals are not decorations, they interact with the world around them and you can influence them. Click to pollinate flowers, drop fruit, hunt prey, create burrows, release swarms, pupate butterflies, and poop to spread seeds. Every click moves the ecosystem forward.

Unlock automation and let nature take over
At first, you guide the ecosystem directly. As your rainforest develops, you unlock automation for the actions you have been doing yourself, until the rainforest can sustain and develop on its own.

Build across distinct Amazon biomes
The Amazon is not one single jungle. Grow terra firma forests, whitewater floodplains, blackwater channels, coastal mangroves, and misty Andean cloud forests. Each biome has different species, conditions, and ecological actions.
Fruit falls into flooded forests where fish gather beneath the canopy. Electric eels strike in dark blackwater. Mangrove roots shelter young animals. Cloud forest birds dance to attract mates.
