The Story
The year is 1512 after the Pale.  Mankind is fractured, confined to isolas where the Pale hasn’t yet reached.  Only fragments of the old world survive.  But there are those for whom the Pale is not the end of the world.  They are the line that holds the world together, they are the forewarning of the Pale.  They are couriers that connect Earth’s scattered isolas—forecasters of the apocalypse.

You are a Pale Rider, one who's profession is to ride into a storm, that in it of itself is unreality made manifest, deliver vital messages across its expanse, and forecast its route.  Having recently emerged from the Pale on a voyage of mysterious intent, you are uniquely prepared to navigate its danger, aid its victims, and understand its true nature,

Unabashed Freedom of Choice: Charm, bully, deceive those around you.  Instigate hate, inspire love, rob, save, kill.  Whether you are a fascist, an anarchist, a tender to the eternal flame of the status quo, or none of these things, the choice is yours in how you navigate your story, no matter the consquences on the world around you.
