Echoes of Broken Realms is a 2D top-down action-adventure about a survivor searching the realms for the truth behind their world's destruction.
Push forward through hand-built areas, banking progress at checkpoints as you scavenge resources and unlock powers that reshape how you fight. Death doesn't take your build — it takes the world. Fall, and the realms rearrange around you, forcing you to apply what you've earned to ground you've never walked.
Every kill, every power, and every resource pulls the world toward balance or chaos. The realms answer in kind.

Death isn't a reset button here, it's a reshuffle. Fall, and you respawn at your last checkpoint to find the realm ahead has rebuilt itself: new layouts, new threats, nothing where you left it. Memorizing a room won't save you. It won't exist the same way twice.

Deep in the Hall of Duality, an unreadable figure waits to help you bend fate but for a price. Relics you find can be Purified into safe, stable strength, or Embraced to unleash something far more dangerous. Every choice reshapes not just your stats, but the kind of run you're about to have. Play it safe. Or don't.

The realm is watching how greedy you get. Push forward efficiently and you'll stay ahead of the curve. Linger, backtrack, and farm every corner for loot — and the world will start pushing back harder. Nothing is free, and nothing stays easy for long.

Nobody knows what deal he struck with the Overlord to earn passage into every fallen realm, or what he really is beneath the hood. He looks simple enough — a merchant, a stall, a fair exchange of coin for gear. But no one who's tried to test that has lived to say otherwise. Weapons, relics, boosters: he has what you need, for a price you'll pay without asking too many questions.

Two weapons. One moment's notice to switch between them. Melee that rewards getting close, ranged that rewards keeping your distance with ammo you'll never have quite enough of. Boosters and quick decisions under pressure will decide whether an encounter is a footnote or your last one.
