Waywardens is a tactical roguelite deckbuilder about making three heroes work as one. Build a shared deck, read the battlefield and find a way through encounters where position matters as much as power.

One hand. Three heroes. A hundred ways out.
Use every card with any hero, or put it in the right hands for a stronger class effect. Let the Vanguard open a lane, send the Huntress through it, then bring the Mage into position to protect the company. The order of your plays can change the entire turn.
Every card is a move, too.
Play a card for its action, or spend it on a chess-inspired movement pattern. Straight lines, diagonals and sudden jumps turn your hand into a map of possibilities. That attack you were saving might be the escape route you need.

See the threat. Change the outcome.
Enemies move and reveal their attacks before you act. Step out of a killing lane, push a foe off a bridge, or leave two enemies in each other’s way. Use obstacles, high ground and narrow approaches to make a dangerous board work for you.
Build a company that survives the road.
Choose a route through battles, treasure, dangerous elites and welcome inns. Add cards to the shared deck, collect relics that shape your party, and equip individual heroes for the role you need them to play. Spend your gold on another advantage - or save it to get everyone home alive.
A beautiful place to meet an ugly end.
Fight across ashen riverbanks, frozen burial grounds, scorched stone, drowned marshes and lands warped by the void. Illustrated heroes and enemies stand on miniature battlefields, with a grim comic-book world waiting beyond each fight.
