FPS Chess: Ignition

Support the development of FPS Chess 2 and continued updates for FPS Chess with FPS Chess: Ignition, which includes a new reimagined version of the original map and the new "wooden" set of pieces with new weapons and abilities.

The wooden piece set explores all sorts of new mechanics and dynamics between the pieces. Playing them is an all new experience completely different than the original set. You can also mix and match them with the other two existing piece sets to experience even more new matchups.

Play Together
Players who do not own FPS Chess: Ignition can always play with the new map and pieces by joining an online lobby of anyone who does own it.

Developer Note
FPS Chess always has been a student project that deserves much more stability and professionalism than it could be given, and the chance to explore all the amazing ideas of its community. That is why I am in the process of developing FPS Chess 2, a free and more stable rewrite of the original game with all sorts of continued content planned.

FPS Chess: Ignition is my way of raising funds to develop the sequel while still giving something back to the community in the meantime. It is also my way of gauging interest on how many people are still hungry for more FPS Chess content.

With these goals in mind, I'd like to note my intention in the future to roll the content of FPS Chess: Ignition into FPS Chess for free. If that happens, I also intend to recognize the amazing early supporters who helped fund the sequel through their purchase of FPS Chess: Ignition with exclusive in-game content within the sequel.
