Leveling up will give you the option of ASCENDING your abilities, doing so will not just empower them it will alter them
Thy mace will erupt craters

Thy projectiles will crackle lightning

LOOT
Numerous items have been left behind by the once great order. Break their containers and claim them!

Some items alter abilities, change damage to fire, clone the entire ability or erupt frost nova on use

3 items types:
Items are collected throughout the run in five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary.

Vestiges are run altering starter items. Some may grant you fire damage upon lighting candles, others may grant fortune and some still will stir the enemies making runs harder.

Relics are freed from the curse itself and can be claimed only once. One strips every Common item from your pool for the rest of the run. Another turns gold into raw power.
