Everest Base Camp is a single-player management simulation game about running a high-altitude expedition base on Mount Everest.
In the first playable demo, you take command of a storm-damaged base camp and prepare a stranded client, Zhou He, for his first controlled expedition from Base Camp toward Camp I.
Your work begins in camp. Check client status, review the weather window, inspect the BC → C1 route, prepare medical supplies, and decide whether the team is ready to move. Preparation does not guarantee success — it lowers risk, unlocks better responses, and gives you more ways to handle trouble on the mountain.
Once the expedition begins, the game shifts from camp management to an action mission. The team moves along the BC → C1 route, and unexpected events may interrupt the climb: fatigue, route hazards, changing weather, and difficult calls about whether to push forward, adjust, use prepared supplies, request support, or safely turn back.
Every decision carries risk. A promising weather window may close. A client may not be ready. A route may become uncertain. Pushing too hard can damage the expedition, while turning back may preserve the chance to try again.
The current demo focuses on Chapter 1: restoring the base camp enough to support Zhou He’s first BC → C1 expedition.
