Alter Animus is a turn-based RPG with horror elements, mysteries to unveil and a character-driven narrative. It's up to you if these unforeseen and unthinkable circumstances make these people truly come together or if they succumb to the consequences of their actions. Trapped in darkness
Even the sun has now abandoned this wretched city. The night is here to stay and so is everyone who happened to be within the city limits after this last sunset. Nobody can leave and nobody understands why and how. Phenomena have been believed to be an impossibility in such a modern and urban society, so what can anyone still believe in now?
Some people seem to easily get lost in this darkness, maybe even becoming part of it. Others... seem to have unlocked abilities they would never have dreamed of. An unlikely group is forming to somehow make sense of all of this, even if only to get through all of it somehow.

Unknown horrors
Certain areas around the city are starting to shift and it's not only the surroundings that are shifting. They are inhabited by hostile creatures, attacking on sight. Try to stay on top and deal with these threats and be prepared to accept the help of unlikely allies. They might also assist in being able to deal with some of the things you bear witness to.

Forge bonds
Strength doesn't only lie in numbers, but also community. Don't exhaust yourself trying to only fend off the unknown. Spending time with your allies might prove invaluable. It's up to you if you want to give everyone you meet a chance though. After all, some people might deserve their fate...
