Hostile Architect

Hostile Architect is a 2D side scroller, but inverted. You're not trying to make it through the level, you're the one designing it. And then a swarm of heroes are unleashed on your creation. You have to stop them to survive.
You start with a small budget and a random selection of traps from the shop. Choose wisely! You'll use these resources to cobble together the best defense possible for your level.

As soon as you're finished building, a wave of heroes will be unleashed on your level. If you survive, you'll build more traps and continue to face off against an exponentially increasing amount of heroes. Good luck!

A Massive Library of Traps and Weapons
Discover a growing library of 30+ traps and obstacles. Some are inspired by classic side scrollers, others are completely original. Over time you will learn combinations of traps that create all new methods of destruction… or, um, let's call it "defense."

Build your Dream (or Nightmare) Level
You're the architect of the journey the heroes are on. You will advance through multiple levels that serve as your canvas for the traps of your choosing. Fling heroes around the level with conveyor belts and springboards. Scream with joy as they are sent hurtling into lava pits and spike ceilings. Fill a room with saw blades and see what happens. Remember those awful jumping puzzles from side scrollers? You can have those too, but the now you are the one inflicting them on others. Schadenfreude activated!

Upgrades and Powers
Improve your traps as you play, activating new ways to use them. Unlock powers that quite literally change the rules of the game and have the potential to snowball your might astronomically.
Easy to Learn, Hard to Master
You don't need to be an experienced gamer or have fast reflexes to play this game. It's approachable for anyone. Discovering the best strategies and relationships between the traps will take time. But that's the fun part! Every run is unique.
