Ashen Throne

Ashen Throne is a free-to-play, top-down action MMORPG. Explore the world on your own, take on bosses with friends, or join a guild and fight for control of Ashen Castle.

Three playable classes at launch
Warrior: Close-range attacks, heavy armour and powerful weapon skills.
Wizard: Ranged spells and area attacks for fighting groups of enemies.
Taoist: Fight with a summoned companion, healing and poison.

Each class has 12 active skills. Set up debuffs and follow with combo attacks, or use optional auto-combat and auto-cast.
Dungeons and world bosses
Travel through towns, forests, desert ruins and underground dungeons across Bichon, Mongchon and Eldergrove. New areas and tougher bosses open up as you level.

Equipment and progression
Find equipment, gather materials and craft weapons, armour and supplies. Improve your skills with practice and skill books, reroll your equipment's bonus stats, and collect appearances in the Wardrobe.
Guild wars and PvP
Fight for mining valleys in Territory Wars and battle for Ashen Castle in Castle War. Holding territory earns your guild Bloodsteel tax, and taking part earns rewards whether you win or lose.
Open-world PvP is available in later provinces, where defeat can cost you items you're carrying. Castle War deaths do not cause item loss.
Wishlist rewards
Community wishlist milestones unlock launch rewards for every player. At 500 Steam wishlists, the first bundle includes 5 Enchant Stones and 5 each of Weapon, Armour and Accessory Enhance items.

Free to play
Optional battle passes support development and include faster gathering and questing, remote salvage selling and gameplay buffs.
