WyrmGate is a turn-based online RPG set in the dark fantasy of The Wyrmlands. You build a hero, assemble an arsenal of abilities and spells, and fight for loot: against the beasts of the Wyrm Coast, against a dragon deep under the mountain, and against other players out on the roads.Abilities win fights, not an attack button
39 abilities, spells and cantrips across the Warrior, the Priest and the Sorcerer. Hunter's Mark brands your prey for the rest of the fight. Second Wind drags you back from your last few HP. Chain Lightning jumps from one enemy to the next, Dragon's Breath washes over several at once, Summon Skeleton puts another fighter at your side, and Charm turns an enemy against his own allies.

All of it adds up to 31 combat effects — bleeding, poison, burning, acid, shields, stuns, auras, reflection — and 11 damage types, with every creature carrying its own vulnerabilities and resistances. The undead flinch from Light, Poison lands at half strength, and a skeleton resists Piercing, so a dagger serves you worse against it than a mace. Picking the right damage type matters more than hitting harder.

Underneath sits the trade of blows: you pick one of four strike zones, cover an adjacent pair with your block, and an initiative roll decides who swings first. One engine runs every format honestly — duels, pack fights, road ambushes, tournaments, dungeon rooms and party lairs where a third player can cut in.Three classes, eight specializations, five races
Warrior, Priest and Sorcerer, each with a fork of its own. The Warrior picks Duelist, Tank, Brawler or Thrower. The Priest takes the Domain of Life or the Domain of Oaths. The Sorcerer follows the Draconic Bloodline or the Shadow Legacy. A subclass does not only grant abilities, it also takes some away, and that is the whole point. A Priest of Oaths swings a mace and burns with light but cannot revive the fallen; a Sorcerer of Shadow raises the dead and breaks an enemy's will, but the elemental arsenal of the Draconic Bloodline — Acid Splash, Fire Blast, Frost Ray, Chain Lightning, Dragon's Breath — is closed to him. A second hero plays differently, not "the same in another colour".

Five races change the game, not the portrait: the Human levels faster, the Dwarf soaks punishment, the Wood elf slips away from blows that seemed inevitable, the Half-orc only grows fiercer on the brink of death, and the Halfling is indecently lucky.Loot worth fighting for
224 item bases, three rarities and a catalogue of 108 affix families — no two finds are alike. Gear can be enhanced up to +10, salvaged into essences, reshaped with the enchanter's six orbs — Transmutation, Alteration, Exaltation, Chaos, Divine and Faceting — and socketed with gems dug out of the mine. And when the piece you need simply refuses to drop, you stop running dungeons for it and go to the Auction House in Mirkhollow, where every lot in the world sits on one board.PvP that does not need you online
Duels, attacks and road ambushes resolve even when your opponent logged off hours ago. You set an ambush; it turns into a fight the moment a suitable traveller walks past. The winner takes gold and consumables — and, with luck, strips an equipped item off the loser. The Mirkhollow arena runs elimination tournaments with Elo rating three times a day. 14 locations strung along the Trade Road: hub towns, hunting grounds, marshes, cursed towers and the Dead Expanse. There are no teleports — travel takes real time, and on the way you will run into bandits, wolves or something worse. 47 creature types, from goblin to lich. The bestiary collects knowledge of each one and pays permanent mastery bonuses for it.

Four solo dungeons, the endless Grimhelm mine with its gems and its depth ranking, and a co-op lair for 2-5 heroes with Carculak Splittooth waiting at the bottom.

Towns remember what you do: reputation opens discounts and privileges, or brands you a criminal and sends you shopping at the Black Market in Braymor. The bounty board hands out contracts, and world events change the map for everyone at once — that is how the Lower Horizons opened beneath Grimhelm.

And once an enemy is mastered down to the last blow, you can put your hero into a trance: he goes hunting on his own, fights, carries the loot back to town and returns, up to 8 hours a day.Key features

Before you start
This is an online game. It runs entirely on our servers and needs a permanent internet connection. There is no offline mode.

A free WyrmGate account is required. It is created right inside the client, with an e-mail and a password.

The same account opens in a browser at wyrmgate.gg — one hero, one inventory, one progress.

There are no real-money purchases. Not in the client, not on the site.

Interface and content are available in Russian, English and Spanish.
