The rapid digitalization of the world brings progress and fascination… but it also opens the door to something that cannot be rationally explained. The line between reality and nightmare begins to blur - and what was meant to be mere technology becomes the vessel for something far older.

A city with centuries of history, from its historic streets to sprawling communist-era concrete apartment blocks, is slowly being consumed by an invisible digital stream. Something is coming. 
You play as Oskar - a programmer from the Przymorze district of Gdańsk, who, after his father’s death, discovers a mysterious book left behind by him. The notes within lead him toward an alternative reality hidden beneath the thin layer of everyday life.

Nightmare Loop is an adventure horror game that takes you to early-2000s Gdańsk - a city full of contrasts, history, and unease lurking just beneath the surface of ordinary life.
Throughout your journey, you will explore real locations in Gdańsk. You will visit places such as the Falowiec, the Oliwa Cemetery, and the seaside districts.
Immerse yourself in the nostalgia of the early 2000s - a world of dial-up modems, the first online networks, and the digital revolution. But remember: this is only one layer of reality.
