WELCOME TO SHERWOOD VALLEY

Experience the legend like never before. Become Robin Hood and live a new life in this cozy RPG. After being a deputy for the Sheriff of Sherwood Valley for many years, Robin Hood finds his or herself (Player Choice) exiled following an act of betrayal. Alone and being hunted, Hood must survive the elements, and plot revenge to take down the now-corrupt Sheriff. All while restoring power back to the people, and enriching the local citizens of Sherwood Valley. You'll also enlist the help of the magical Merry Men to aide you on your adventure. And what good is being a hero/thief if you don't have a secret underground Hideout to decorate?

Explore the nature you've been exiled to. Want to restore your health? Go fishing and cook up some tasty fish to bring with you before you enter another portal. Need to craft a potion instead? Maybe the local farmer can gift you some of their ingredients if you help them out that is.
Right from the start you'll create your own version of Robin Hood by choosing gender and skin tone. With different variants (male, female, light skin, dark skin) you'll be able to make the legendary hero your own.

As legendary as Robin is.. Hood can't do everything. Like casting magic for example. But who can? How about the Merry Men? As you explore the world you'll recruit the Merry Men who will join your cause, help Hood during his quest, and take shelter in the customizable hideout. 

ABOUT THE GAME

Robin Hood: Sherwood Valley is an open world RPG presented in a sandbox, grid based design. Explore the diorama-style world, filled with cozy villages, lush forests, sandy beaches, snowy mountains, and windy caves. Oil painting style backgrounds give the game a cozy, warm, gorgeous vibe. Befriend the locals, explore the world, and prepare for battle.

All over the land of Sherwood Valley are portals.. created by a dark ally of the Sheriff, using ancient magic. Each portal is being used to watch over and intimidate the people. With the worry that the portals could also put their lives at risk. Robin Hood will be tasked with entering each portal, and using his or her archery skills to clear battlefields in turn-based combat. Defeat the deputies and the loyal followers of the Sheriff and his evil allies, and restore the riches back to the people of Sherwood Valley.

For the first time in a Solohack3r Studios game, there will be a 3D element! Underworld Battlefields will come to life, revealing a sinister version of the cozy and happy world above. You'll prepare for battle in a 3D view, with animated enemies. As seen in the GIF above.
Robin Hood: Sherwood Valley mixes the nostalgia of retro RPGs with modern elements and gameplay. With soothing medieval style music, colorful graphics, and oil painting inspired artwork, the goal is to make Sherwood Valley feel like a place you want to get lost in. Especially with the different biomes to discover. Plus fun features like crafting potions, fishing for ingredients, and decorating your Hideout.

Along your adventure you'll encounter paths that are blocked. There will be a few different ways to clear each path to unlock new areas, and various tools you'll pick up along the way. You can use Bombs to blow up boulders. Or play an Orcania to awaken a sleeping Orc that has decided to camp out in the middle of a path.
