SHAPE THE MAP
Design custom maps hex by hex, from the coastline inward, or generate a random map to spark your imagination and reshape it from there. Lay down terrain, carve out territory, and decide where mountains rise and rivers run. Every map you build becomes a stage for the empires you place upon it.
PLACE THE POWERS
Position empires across your world and give each the assets it begins with. Found their cities and set what each one controls: its workshops, its surrounding territory, the strength of its garrison. Raise their armies and decide how many troops march under each banner. Nothing is left to chance, because you set it all.
SET THE STARTING CONDITIONS
Command the state of the world at turn one. Choose each faction's starting technology, define who stands allied and who stands at war, and tune the balance of power until the opening position is precisely what you want: a fair contest, a desperate last stand, or an empire poised on the brink of greatness.
RULE THE FROZEN NORTH
Eternal Creation adds six new winter terrain types to expand the worlds you can build: Ice Ocean, Cold Plains, Tundra, Snow Forest, Snow Hills and Snow Mountains. Carve out frozen frontiers, harsh northern kingdoms and ice-strewn seas where drifting floes break the open water, and give your scenarios a whole new climate to conquer.
SHARE YOUR CREATIONS
Scenarios you build can be played in the base game by anyone, even friends who don't own Eternal Creation. Design a world, hand it to them, and they can play it straight away. (Scenarios that use the new winter terrain types do require the DLC to play.)
