Key Features
A Living Stat System
Your Arou’ka are shaped entirely by what they do. There are no dead stats, no easy dump categories, and no clear way forward but to fight, learn, and survive. Each of the 18 stats is color-coded into six core operational groups to guide your progression toward a vision of twisted perfection:
Green (Life & Recovery): Boost your own vitals or aggressively deny the enemy's healing vectors.

Blue (Stamina & Willpower): Fuel your own action queue or strip away your opponent's energy pool.

Red (Raw Physical Power): Unleash brute, crushing force to rip and drag your foes asunder.

Purple (The Esoteric Arts): Tear your opponents out of this reality using supernatural anomalies.

Yellow (Universal Defense): Stand firm and mitigate damage in the face of any onslaught.

Orange (Wit & Speed): Dominate the battlefield with split-second decisions and reflexes.

Every Action Counts
With up to four combat actions and two active perks per turn, every decision carries massive weight. Rapidly chain high-frequency attacks or focus on single, calculated blows. Build unstoppable combat synergy with your active squad, or be left completely optionless when worst comes to worst. Always have a plan.

Asymmetric 3v7 Combat
You are outmanned and surrounded, but not outgunned. Ravenous hordes breathe down your neck, and you have nothing but your tactical skill to drive them back. Deploying 3 monsters at a time from a highly mobile 7-creature active party roster means you always have a counter to any hurdle. Swap your monsters dynamically mid-battle, but accept that victory will require a sacrifice.

Modular and Lateral Mutations
Every choice your Arou’ka make organically guides them toward a new mutation path. If you make a mistake, their biology is not ruined; every creature can be laterally shifted to an adjacent form or reverted entirely to begin anew. As your mastery over the facility improves, the quality of your monstrosities rises, allowing them to emerge from the pods ever more powerful.

The Biological Debt Loop
Should your creatures fall in combat, they face only the momentary terror of their end. They will return to your personal haven to be rebuilt, returning wiser and stronger with persistent stat bonuses drawn from your own permanent attributes. Every loss is just another experience to draw strength from.
But beware of debt. Repairing your broken creatures requires raw material. In a pinch, your own flesh will do, permanently locking applicable upgrades until your biological deficit is paid back to the facility.
